Cartizze is the toponym that identifies an area of 106 hectares in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. The most widespread hypothesis on the origin of the name is the one that derives the name from “gardizze”, a term from the local dialect that indicates the racks used for the over-ripeness of the grapes. Distributed in the hamlets of Saccol, San Pietro and Santo Stefano, the Cartizze has a young, fruity and delicate taste. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with light desserts
