Le Carline has been involved in organic viticulture since the beginning of its adventure in the world of wine, which dates back to almost 30 years ago, and this production philosophy, and of life, has meant that Le Carline has always been a synonym of certified organic wines, vegans and without added sulphites.
Le Carline is located in the area DOC Lison-Pramaggiore and DOC Venezia (the biggest enological organic area in Europe).
Not only ORGANIC…
Some years ago we had start the production of wines without added sulfites, or other wine’s adjuvants. So were born the Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, the Cabernet, the Bianco, the Merlot and the Pinot Grigio.
Beyond the ORGANIC…
30 years after the beginning of our adventure in the world of wine and organic viticulture, it’s time to take a further step forward the field of experimentation and research, a step forward that will take us beyond the Organic. For several years our company is engaged in experimentation, collaborating with the University and the Veneto Region, carrying out projects on ancient and autochthonous varieties of the territory. In 2017 we have the first harvest of the grapes obtained from the resistant implanted varieties that, in addition to high quality level, also allow a high environmental sustainability, a theme that has always been at the center of our company mission.
These vines are in fact resistant mainly to the peronospora and the oidium, the two diseases of the vine most feared by the winemakers and therefore require only a few treatments.
