“If you want to enjoy the gifts of nature, you have to defer to nature and its needs, its rules, its norms.” (Shimon Peres)
With the constant interaction between humans and nature and our humble respect for the environment, we chose resistant grape varieties to drastically limit human intervention.
Label: The "eye" stands for the ability to look ahead, beyond the horizon and the present. In our opinion, resistant varieties are the future of complete sustainable viticulture that embraces the principles of the organic method and traces new tasting paths.
Venit is a young entity that produces quality organic wines between Friuli and Veneto. Founded on the beliefs of the cultivation of “resistant” varieties, new and innovative vines, obtained from crossings of different varieties that have characteristics of high resilience to fungal diseases and great potential for winemaking.
These vines, called “Piwi”, allow for a more sustainable agriculture, perfectly in line with the principles of the organic method, while offering a wide range of oenological possibilities that stimulate the consumer to explore new tasting paths.
Alongside the Piwi wines, Venit offers traditional varieties harvested by hand and trained with spurred cordon to reduce production yields in favour of quality and sustainability, all vinified with respect for the raw material.
