Menicucci
The Menicucci story is carved out of an Italian family tradition and flavored with passion, the love affair began in 1970 when Antonio Menicucci planted his first grapes in Ortona, Italy. Three generations later, the Menicucci legend lives on.
The Menicucci vineyards stretch over 20 hectares of vineyards, located in the municipalities of Canosa San-nita and Ortona. The soils are made up of textured lands and generally end with a limestone substrate and rocky outcrops sparse. The thermal values char-acterize a rather warm texture, with little annual rainfall and very high temperature ranges; a condition that has a beneficial influence on the quality of the grapes.
The Menicucci family produces 100% CCPB cer-tified organic wine, from the native Abruzzesi grapes; Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Trebbiano D’Abruzzo, Pecorino Terre Di Chieti and Passerina Terre Di Chieti.
