Helios comes from a historic family plot in the area of Contessa Entellina, from vines over 30 years old, not irrigated.
A Nero d’Avola and persuasive Syrah with aromas of sweet spices, shades of blackberries and black cherry and earthy suggestions.
Balanced, silky and round, with a tannic texture of great finesse and a beautiful saline line that gives freshness and length to the flavors.
The Di Giovanna family has been cultivating organic vineyards for five generations in western Sicily, just outside the town of Sambuca di Sicilia. Brothers Gunther & Klaus manage the family’s 56 hectare estate and winery where their hand crafted wines are made and bottled. All wines are made exclusively with estate fruit and the entire production cycle is certified organic by Suolo e Salute SRL.
