Characterised by an intense ruby red, "Lucretia" opens with mild but complex fruit and flower scents with spicy notes of tabacco and cloves. In the mouth it is soft with its smooth texture of plums, blackberry and blueberry flavors.

To complete its harmonious essence there are hints of dried flowers and spicy notes with balsamic aromas. On the long finish it emits notes of roasted coffee, thus making this wine complex and elegant. W ell balanced, characterised by a good persistency, this wine boasts mild tannins to the palate, thanks to an ageing period in small oak barrels. Perfect when paired with game, wildfowl or ripened cheese.

It is right in the heart of Tuscany, nestled in the pleasant green of its gentle hills, where Casagrande della Quercia winery is based.

The winery and all its vineyards are located within the Chianti Classico area, the well-renowned territory between Siena and Florence.

The founding family, for three generations, has been working aiming at creating a link between the longstanding Tuscan heritage of wine production and the innovation brought by new technological processes. This is in order to raise product quality while maintaining full respect for the environment and for wine tradition.

For this reason the whole production process from grape to wine processing, to maturing wine, even up to bottling takes place in house having one hand on the past one hand on the future.
