The Novello family hand-harvests the 11 hectares of cappuccina vineyards to ensure the best possible selection of grapes from which high-quality wines are produced: from the oldest vineyards come the grapes destined for the brand “Ronco dei Pini”.

The winery is located in northeastern Friuli, specifically in the municipality of Prepotto in the Judrio Valley, where vineyard cultivation is influenced by the cool, breezy microclimate with significant temperature variations that occur especially in the summer season around harvest time.

The proximity of the mountains to the north and the sea to the south allows for constant ventilation. The temperature variations enrich the aromatic profile of the grapes, giving them the unmistakable characteristics of the area that produces Friuli Colli Orientali DOC wines.
