Vinificazione	We hand-pick the grapes and, after a brief cold maceration, gently press them. We age the wine for approximately six months on fine yeasts, using batonnage. After bottling, the wine rests for another two months in the bottle.

A Friulian white with substance: the Pinot Grigio Friuli Colli Orientali DOC 2023 from Ronco dei Pini is the local classic made without shortcuts — six months on its own lees, and no oak.

100% Pinot Grigio, trained to single Guyot. Hand-harvested, briefly cold-macerated and gently pressed, then 6 months in steel on the fine lees with frequent bâtonnage. After bottling it rests a further two months. 12.5% vol.

In the glass, straw yellow. On the nose, white melon, rosemary and hints of jasmine, with a light almondy touch. To drink it is iodine-saline, with the herbal notes and white fruit returning, closing on toasted dried fruit.

A Pinot Grigio that tastes of somewhere, not just of a grape.

Recommended pairings: antipasti and fish pasta dishes. Serve at 10-12 °C.

The Novello family hand-harvests the 11 hectares of cappuccina vineyards to ensure the best possible selection of grapes from which high-quality wines are produced: from the oldest vineyards come the grapes destined for the brand “Ronco dei Pini”.

Majestic red wines that enjoy being matured in French oak barriques to accompany every special occasion, elegant white wines with enveloping aromas to enhance light dishes and tantalizing appetizers, and finally lively bubbles to brighten evenings with friends. A journey through the typical flavors of Friuli through native and classic wines.

The winery is located in northeastern Friuli, specifically in the municipality of Prepotto in the Judrio Valley, where vineyard cultivation is influenced by the cool, breezy microclimate with significant temperature variations that occur especially in the summer season around harvest time.

The proximity of the mountains to the north and the sea to the south allows for constant ventilation. The temperature variations enrich the aromatic profile of the grapes, giving them the unmistakable characteristics of the area that produces Friuli Colli Orientali DOC wines.
