Since 2001, Tenute Plaia has been producing quality DOC wines, mainly from native vines and using organic farming methods.
The company has inherited from three generations of winemakers the experience, professionalism, and passion for a complex and demanding profession, linked to unpredictable climate variations. These same principles still fuel a passion for the land and its products, and stimulate a desire to experiment, seeking new cultivation techniques to complement traditional ones, leveraging modern technology.
A love of nature has led to the choice of cultivation methods that follow organic farming principles, excluding the use of chemical herbicides and insecticides that are harmful to the environment and human health.
Vineyard cultivation is complemented by olive groves, a vegetable garden, and fruit, the produce of which is used primarily in the farmhouse kitchen, an integral part of the farm.
