Lefiole

Who we are

We are Elisa and Silvia Piaggi, Lefiole, an affectionate expression for "the girls" in the Oltrepò dialect. We grew up in Montalto Pavese and, even though we now live elsewhere, it is among these hills that we feel at home. This bond spurred us to do something for our land, for its traditions and for the story of those who have allowed these hauntingly beautiful hills to withstand the passage of time.

Our wines

We created two wines, made with the grapes our dad still grows and harvests, season after season, on our 12 hectares of vineyards. They are a Pinot Grigio and a Pinot Nero: Elivià and Alené, names born from blending our names and those of our parents, Angela and Enzo. We were helped by oenologist Guido Beltrami, whom we asked to combine the experience of the past with modern production techniques to make wines that best reflect the character of the land and our personality.
