Azienda Agricola Sgreva is a winery founded in 1960 by the hard work and dedication of the first generation of the family, who settled in Lugana di Sirmione from the Veronese plains. The family's deep dedication to the land has translated over the years into a constant desire to enhance it, highlighting its value and exceptional suitability for the vine, which for millennia has found an ideal habitat on the shores of Lake Garda. Today, owners Giacomo and Vanessa, the siblings, are the generation that has inherited this legacy. They work daily, with the indispensable help of their mother Francesca, to bring out the unique character of their grapes.
Lake Garda has always been a place with a great viticultural and winemaking tradition. Its waters and air currents create a unique microclimate, key to the perfect chemistry between vines and soils. The vineyards of Sirmione, Pozzolengo, and Lonato del Garda combine the strong clayey soil of the coastal soil with the stonier character of the first moraine hills inland and are ideal for bringing out the best in grapes rich in character, aroma, and minerality, just like the Turbiana grapes, cultivated for generations according to tradition. Groppello, Marzemino, Barbera, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon also produce typical local wines.
