Cascina Giambolino
Cascina Giambolino keeps and preserves, with ever-renewed passion, a family farming tradition in the southeast of Piedmont, in the Colli Tortonesi—also known as the Terre Derthona— in Carbonara Scrivia, in the province of Alessandria. The cultivated land extends over about fifty hectares, of which 10 hectares are vineyards and 40 hectares are dedicated to forage and cereals. The grapes, obtained through skilled work in the vineyard, are carefully vinified, giving life to numerous labels, including the symbolic wines of the territory: Derthona Timorasso and Monleale Barbera. The forage and cereals are used to feed the farm’s livestock: Razza Piemontese (Fassona) cattle.

• Dongion Sparkling White Wine, based on Cortese and Favorita grapes
"At our farm shop we also process and sell the meat from our own livestock: prime cuts of beef, tender and tasty, with excellent nutritional qualities. In addition, we offer artisanal pork cold cuts of our own production, including Salame Nobile del Giarolo, cooked ham, lonzino, pancetta, and much more.
We warmly welcome wine tourists and offer tasting experiences of our wines, meats, and cured meats in combination, both at the farmhouse and in the vineyard, along with visits to the stables and the winery."
