Timorasso was all but extinct: by the 1980s only a few rows were left in the Colli Tortonesi. Today it is the most talked-about white in Italy, and Derthona is the name it goes by here.

Deep golden yellow. An intense nose of white fruit, stone fruit in particular, and tropical fruit, with banana sweet and lemon leaf. The palate gives citrus and apricot, warm, balanced, savoury and well sustained, with an acidity that carries the warmth and an agreeable finish.
This is a white that ages: if you find two bottles, put one away for five years.
Recommended pairings: starters and pasta with vegetables and fish, but also white meats and cheeses — fresh Montebore, Parmigiano Reggiano or a medium-aged Pecorino Romano.

- Delivery takes place on working days, during office hours. We suggest giving a delivery address where an adult is always present at those times to receive the goods.
