Fugolo

The Fugolo Gianluca farm lies in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, a short distance from Lake Garda, on the left bank of the Adige in the village of Pescantina (VR).

We have been a farming family for four generations: in 1940 my great-grandfather Modesto moved with his son Vittorio from Padua to Verona to work as a sharecropper. Following in their footsteps, my father Mario carried on the passion for this land, setting up a small family farm in the heart of Pescantina, "the land of peaches".

Today, with the same passion and determination, I run the family farm, growing peaches, vines and olives in the municipalities of Pescantina, San Pietro in Cariano, Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella and Calmasino.

The fifth generation is the future: my daughters Michela and Sofia, to whom I am passing on the same passion as their grandfather Mario and my vision of farming…
