Tenute Plaia

Since 2001 Tenute Plaia has been making quality DOC wines, mainly from native grapes and following organic farming methods.

The estate inherited from three generations of growers the experience, professionalism and love for a complex, demanding craft that depends on unpredictable weather. These same foundations still fuel its passion for the land and its produce today, and spur a desire to experiment, looking for new growing techniques to set alongside traditional ones with the help of modern technology.

A love of nature led to the choice of organic farming, ruling out chemical herbicides and insecticides that harm the environment and human health.

Alongside the vines, the estate grows olives, vegetables and fruit, used mainly in the kitchen of its agriturismo, an integral part of the business.
