Pinino

The PININO estate in Montosoli has been a showcase for winemaking tradition since 1874, when it was founded by Tito Costanti, a notary in Montalcino. PININO has been registered as a Brunello producer since 1950.

In 2003, Spaniard Max Hernandez and Austrian Andrea Gamon decided to turn their passion into their career, joining forces and expertise to revitalize the company and create a superior product. Max and Andrea are longtime friends and colleagues, having previously worked together in the fashion industry. For the Spaniard—whose father was a winemaker in Toro—the company also represents a connection to his family roots.

Thanks to the acquisition of the Canchi vineyard, they quadrupled their cultivation area to 16 hectares. Investments in modernizing production and the company's operations have ensured improved quality.

Andrea passed on his enthusiasm for good wine and his expertise to his daughter Elena, who joined the PININO family in 2019 as Sales Manager.
