Menicucci

The story of Menicucci wines has been shaped by the tradition of an Italian family and seasoned with passion. It all began in 1970, when Antonio Menicucci planted his first vines in Ortona. Three generations later, the Menicucci family carries the tradition forward.

The family's vineyards cover 20 hectares in the municipalities of Canosa Sannita and Ortona. The soils are fine-textured, with a mostly limestone subsoil and occasional rocky outcrops. The climate is fairly warm, with low annual rainfall and very wide day-night temperature swings, conditions that benefit the quality of the grapes.

The Menicucci family produces 100% certified organic wines from native Abruzzo grapes: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Pecorino Terre di Chieti and Passerina Terre di Chieti. All the wines are certified organic by CCPB Srl.
