| Vinificazione | The grapes are harvested into crates, keeping the bunches as intact as possible. The sugars then ferment in steel tanks at 28-30 °C. After alcoholic fermentation and racking, malolactic fermentation begins. |

A wood-aged Barbera d'Asti Superiore: "La Grissa" 2018 from Tenute Rade sits halfway between the steel-aged Barbera and the Nizza — structure and softness, without excess.
Barbera 100%, harvested into crates with the bunches as intact as possible, fermented in steel tanks at 28–30 °C followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged in 25 hl oak casks and partly in second-use barriques, then in bottle. 14% vol.
In the glass, intense red with delicate garnet and violet reflections. On the nose it is enveloping and very persistent, with notes of chocolate and ripe fruit. On the palate it is round, warm and delicate.
