Conti Sertoli Salis

Conti Sertoli Salis is one of the most prestigious and respected wine estates in Valtellina.
It is based in Tirano, home to both its winery and its original 17th-century ageing cellars.

The Conti Sertoli Salis name has been linked to wine for more than four hundred years: as early as the mid-1600s, the noble family supplied the finest wines of Valtellina to the court of the Habsburg Emperor and to several noble families from the Grisons living in the valley.

True to continuity and to local winemaking traditions, and drawing on careful technical and historical research, Conti Sertoli Salis has revived old native grape varieties and given new value to distinctive winemaking methods.

The estate has made a strict, targeted selection of vineyards in the best growing areas, paying particular attention to the finest crus for their geology, exposure and microclimate, in order to make quality wines that express their terroir.
