Sforzato is the only way the Valtellina makes a wine from dried grapes, and it is also the rarest. This is the youngest vintage we carry.
Pure Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), dried on the mantavole in the loft until the end of January: the dry cold of winter concentrates aromas, tannins and sugars. Aged 18 months in oak tonneaux. 2017 vintage, 15% vol.
Intense ruby red, often with deep garnet reflections. The nose is ethereal from the high alcohol, with morello cherry to the fore and spiced notes running through elderberry preserve, cinnamon and liquorice. The palate has good softness and great body, with long duration.
Against the 2015 it still has the drive of youth: drink it now or wait ten years.
Recommended pairings: elaborate dishes of furred game — deer, chamois, roe — or rich whole-milk cheeses, hard and soft alike.

- If a parcel arrives broken or damaged, we recommend signing the delivery note “received subject to inspection”, so that you can check the contents and let us know the condition of the goods. If bottles are broken, please contact us immediately and we will find the best solution together.
- The courier will NOT deliver wine or other alcoholic products to anyone under 18 and may ask for ID to verify age.
- Delivery takes place on working days, during office hours. We suggest giving a delivery address where an adult is always present at those times to receive the goods.
