Fangareggi

Fangareggi is a family-run farm: the families have grown grapes since the 1800s, and in 2004 they decided to take up this old tradition again, building on what their grandparents and great-grandparents taught them; their own line of wines has existed since 2013. They farm their 24 hectares of vineyards themselves, respecting tradition and the fruit, so that quality stays intact in the bottle. The wines come only from their own vineyards between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena, pruned and harvested by hand with careful selection of the best bunches. The estate makes six high-quality red and white semi-sparkling wines and specialises in Lambrusco, in four versions. It follows integrated pest management, which keeps fertilisers, fungicides and other chemicals to a minimum. The aim is always high quality and genuine products. Since 2016 Fangareggi has been recognised by the certifying body as an "Azienda di Eccellenze Italiane".
