Pietraluce

For the Savoldi family, wine has always meant sharing, joy and above all passion.

And it is when imagination meets reality that the dream comes true: Pietraluce is born, a young family winery that brings together passion, respect for nature and the pleasure of making an exciting wine.

The name sums up the essence of the project: the "Pietra", the precious stone, stands for the land, precious and in need of care and respect, which is why the philosophy in both vineyard and cellar is organic, low-intervention, and highly modern and technological.

The "Luce", the light, is where all this work ends up: a glass of Franciacorta, with brilliant, shining bubbles.

The Savoldi family wants to establish a style of its own, one that can be recognised and remembered through its Franciacorta. The Pietraluce style means believing deeply in single-varietal Chardonnay and loving its elegance and purity, which is why the winery specialises in Franciacorta Blanc de Blancs, the only exception being the Rosé, made from 100% Pinot Nero. Another hallmark is the low dosage across every type of Franciacorta, which together with long ageing ensures great authenticity and expressiveness.
