the producer

Viaboschi

VIABOSCHI is a young winery born from the founders' desire to return to their roots. Food culture in general, and therefore wine as well, is part of our family's history, so there was nothing easier than starting over with grape growing. In 2013, we planted a vineyard for the production of PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG in Refrontolo, one of the 15 historic municipalities of the CONEGLIANO VALDOBBIADENE DOCG appellation. Subsequently, still in Refrontolo, we replanted an old vineyard with more mature vines that produce excellent quality grapes.

QUALITY is the mission of our business and the determining factor for the decisions we have made and will continue to make. Quality of the environment, the vineyard, the grapes, and the wine. We believe these four aspects are essential and that they all play a significant role in producing a high-quality sparkling wine.

We personally carry out and coordinate all pruning, treatments, harvesting, winemaking, and sparkling wine production. Pruning follows the lunar phases, respecting the plant's life cycle. Protective treatments are based on the principles of integrated pest management, aiming to reduce the number of interventions while simultaneously ensuring the health of the vines and grapes. Harvesting is exclusively manual, depending on the timing and type of grapes required for the type of sparkling wine desired. Gentle pressing of the grapes, low-temperature fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks, and secondary fermentation in an autoclave at 15°C complete the production cycle.

The stay on the yeasts lasts from 60 days for the EXTRA DRY and BRUT sparkling wine up to 180 days for the “SENZA” BRUT NATURE
