| Vinificazione | The grapes are destemmed and fermented in terracotta amphorae, at the end of fermentation the skins are removed and the wine remains in the amphora to refine for 6 months, then the maturation continues in 220 litre wooden barrels for another 6 months until bottling. |
An elegant and refined orange wine , the 2018 Pinot Grigio Orange “Pief” from Maso Caliari is produced from Pinot Grigio grapes left to macerate with the skins and then aged in wooden barrels, giving life to a wine that combines structure and finesse.
In the glass it stands out for its bright copper colour and a bouquet that recalls white peach, wild flowers and light spicy notes .
On the palate it is soft, light and pleasantly fresh , with an almondy and harmonious finish.
Recommended pairings: creative appetizers, vegetable-based dishes, white meats, and light Mediterranean cuisine.
