Poggio Regini

Founded in 1969 by Rodolfo Rossi and Bruno Boccacci, the Poggio Regini estate is nestled in the Chianti hills in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti. It covers approximately 23 hectares, of which 11 were initially planted with vineyards and the remainder with mixed crops. Over time, the estate has become renowned for its production of high-quality wines and its proverbial picture-postcard landscape.

As per rural tradition, which sees the continuity between father and son's work as a constant renewal of ancient bonds, in 1993 management passed to Manuele Rossi, Rodolfo's son and Bruno's grandson.
The passion and dedication to the production of genuine products led Poggio Regini towards a rapid evolution and a discreet renewal, so much so that in 1997 approximately two hectares of olive grove were planted and in 1998 seven hectares of vineyard were added.

Finally, 2005 is the year that marks the first bottling, a great company success.

Always entirely family-run, the company is now managed by Manuele's domestic staff, his son Maurizio, his wife Cinzia, and with the invaluable help of Rodolfo, the founding father, who, despite his ailments, does not give up his passion for rural life.
