the producer

Bricco Del Cucu

Bricco del Cucù is a family-run business that has always been dedicated to growing vines and producing typical Langa wines.

For over 100 years, this passion has been passed down from generation to generation: continuous research and quality improvement have led to the opening of new markets, even abroad.

“Patience and passion create emotion”

The company is nestled in a Langa area that is yet to be discovered in its genuine and in some ways wild beauty:

the little roads and paths wind along historical and naturalistic routes immersed in the vineyards and hazelnut groves, typical crops of the Langa, where there is no shortage of woodland and characteristic gullies carved out by the Tanaro.

The Langa originates on the right bank of the river, a land that has always been suited to the cultivation of the Dolcetto grape, which finds its natural habitat here in highly calcareous soils, on steep slopes ranging from 400 to 500 meters above sea level.

This microclimate favors optimal ripening thanks to the ventilation of the Ligurian ridge that protects the vines from stagnant humidity and excessive temperatures during the summer season.
