| Vinificazione | The grapes, harvested in crates, are taken to the cellar within two hours, where they are destemmed and pressed. The must is placed in temperature-controlled tanks where fermentation takes place for approximately 10 days at a temperature no higher than 24°C. During fermentation, pumping over is carried out daily and delestage is performed every 3/4 days. |

An authentic red that expresses the character of Alto Monferrato , a land historically suited to the cultivation of Dolcetto , the iconic grape variety of the Ovada area. The Dolcetto di Ovada DOC 2023 “Il Sovrano” from La Voltignana expresses all the typical characteristics of this Piedmontese wine, combining immediacy, elegance, and a pleasant structure.
In the glass it presents an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections , while on the nose it offers a fragrant bouquet of cherry, small red fruits and violets , accompanied by delicate almond nuances typical of the grape variety.
On the palate, it is dry, soft, and harmonious , with a balanced tannic texture and a pleasant freshness that makes the sip smooth and inviting. The finish is persistent, with fruity aftertaste and a light note of bitter almond that gives it character and recognizability.
Recommended pairings: ideal with Piedmontese cured meats and appetizers, tasty first courses, red meats, roasts and mature cheeses.
A sincere and local Dolcetto, perfect to accompany traditional cuisine or for a convivial glass that tells the most authentic soul of Monferrato .

- Delivery will take place on weekdays, during office hours. We recommend entering a delivery address where an adult capable of collecting the goods will always be present during these hours.
