Who We Are

We are Elisa and Silvia Piaggi, Lefiole, an affectionate expression in the Oltrepò dialect for girls. We grew up in Montalto Pavese, and even though we now live elsewhere, it's among these hills that we feel at home. This bond has inspired us to do something for our land, for its traditions, for the history of those who have allowed these hills of breathtaking beauty to withstand the passage of time.

Our wines

We created two wines. We made them with the grapes that my father continues to grow and harvest, season after season, on our 12 hectares of vineyards. They are a Pinot Grigio and a Pinot Noir: Elivià and Alené, names born from the fusion of our names and those of our parents, Angela and Enzo. We were assisted by winemaker Guido Beltrami, whom we asked to combine his past experience with modern production techniques to create wines that best reflect the characteristics of the terroir and our personality.
