Pennisi

Pennisi's vineyards lie in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, where winegrowing has very ancient roots.

The area has a strong calling for top-quality wines: vines fully exposed to the Sicilian sun, on volcanic, mineral soil, yield selected grapes for an excellent red and a fragrant white. Behind every bottle lies a long story of vineyards and harvests, of dirty hands, of earth and must, begun by the ancestors and handed down from generation to generation, from father to son.

It is still a family-run estate today, tending its vineyard with traditional methods that respect the environment and the natural growth of vine and fruit.

All the work in the vineyard is done by hand, and every single vine receives careful attention, until, at the end of a long road of patient, meticulous work, the result is a wine that in every sip quietly recalls the memory of the ancestors.
