Carricante is the white grape of Etna, and it grows on soils that are crumbled lava: nowhere else in Sicily makes a white like this.
90% Carricante and 10% Catarratto from the slopes of the volcano. Fifteen days' fermentation in steel, then 60 days' ageing in bottle. Etna Bianco DOC, 2023 vintage, 13% vol.
Straw yellow with bright golden reflections. The nose gives floral jasmine and white-fleshed fruit, peach and nectarine. On the palate the mineral note of the volcanic soil is clear, and the freshness shows all the youth of the wine.
Minerality here is not a figure of speech: it is what sets Etna apart from the rest of the island.
Recommended pairings: grilled and fried fish, and shellfish.

- The courier will NOT deliver wine or other alcoholic products to anyone under 18 and may ask for ID to verify age.
- Delivery takes place on working days, during office hours. We suggest giving a delivery address where an adult is always present at those times to receive the goods.
