The Riserva is the wine Antico Podere Casanova holds back longest before bottling, and it shows: this is Bucciarelli's Chianti Classico at its deepest.
Pure Sangiovese from the vineyards of Castellina in Chianti, on galestro soil with traces of alberese at 450 metres, certified organic. Aged in vitrified concrete, then in 9-hectolitre oak casks and finally in barrique. 14.5% vol.
Concentrated, luminous ruby. The nose offers intense cherry, blackberry and wild berries, followed by pipe tobacco, cinchona, leather and dark spice. The palate is soft, with polished tannins and a fresh, savoury backbone carrying a long finish.
A serious Chianti — open it an hour ahead.

- The courier will NOT deliver wine or other alcoholic products to anyone under 18 and may ask for ID to verify age.
- Delivery takes place on working days, during office hours. We suggest giving a delivery address where an adult is always present at those times to receive the goods.
