Same wine, younger vintage: Bucciarelli's Chianti Classico 2019 is bottled after twenty-four months in oak and shows tighter and more vertical than the 2018.
Pure Sangiovese from the south-east facing vineyards of Castellina in Chianti, on galestro soil, certified organic. Twenty-four months' ageing in oak casks. 14.5% vol.
Ruby with violet reflections. The nose is live, crunchy fruit. On the palate red fruit and floral notes meet darker woodland tones, with decisive acidity and that bloody mineral streak which is the estate's signature.
If the 2018 is ready now, this one still has road ahead.
Recommended pairings: pasta with ragù, roast meats, bistecca alla fiorentina and aged cheeses.

- Delivery takes place on working days, during office hours. We suggest giving a delivery address where an adult is always present at those times to receive the goods.
