the producer

La Trava

The company was founded in 1999 by Giorgio and Maria Grazia, who, driven by their passion for the region, purchased and renovated the historic La Trava farmhouse in the hills of Mango, in the province of Cuneo. The first bottle of Moscato was produced in 2000. Over the years, Giorgio and Maria Grazia have passed on their love for their work to their daughter Manuela, who joined the winery in 2010. Our philosophy is simple: both in growing the vines and in making the wine. We carry out all our work in the rows, respecting the environment and the surrounding nature. Green is the predominant color of our vineyards, both that of the plants themselves and that of the grass growing between the rows. We favor the cultivation of native grape varieties to preserve the purest identity of this area. Alongside traditional processes, starting with the 2015 harvest, we have introduced innovative production methods that depart from tradition, enhancing the wine's characteristics that have been overlooked until now. We therefore combine rigorous wine research and development with tradition, preserving the integrity of the grape variety's original flavor.
