Angiuli Donato

FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION, A BOND OF WINE

Values tied to the land and one's roots, a love in bunches that then, thanks to passion, becomes wine.

For the Angiuli Donato winery, the story began in 1880, a family story that continues to this day. The company, located in Adelfia, in the heart of the Gioia del Colle Primitivo DOP wine-growing area, is today led by Donato Angiuli, assisted by his sons Vito and Giuseppe.

As winemakers, their philosophy, from 1880 to today, has remained unchanged: the land must be respected; hence the desire to cultivate native grape varieties that blend well with the nature of the soil and microclimate.

For his winery's niche wines, Donato Angiuli created the "Maccone" brand, named after the dialectal stage name of the Angiuli winery's first cellar master, a man of great personality, professionalism, and fame in the local agricultural sector.
