Maremma Toscana DOC Sangiovese "Spineto" 2019 - Erik Banti

The Sangiovese is “The Queen” of the Tuscan grapes and from them comes the most famous wines as the Chianti Classico, The Brunello, the Nobile di Montepulciano where tha Sangovese is called “Prugnolo Gentile” . Also the Morellino di Scansano has Sangovese for at least 85% as the most Tuscan appellations, 

The Sangiovese it’s a generous grape, well tolerates bad weather and been harvest as one of the latest grapes.

Erik Banti established his winery in 1981 in the village of Montemerano and have been from all considered the Pioneer of the Morellino di Scansano. With passion, enthusiasm and dedication he contribute significantly to make known this appellation at that time only locally distributed, in Italy and later on worldwide with significant valuations from the world major wines guides, wine magazines and newspapers column, starting from the 3 Gambero Rosso glasses to the Best Italian Buy of Wine Spectator.
