The Vurria is an elegant and harmonious expression of Nero d’Avola.
The aging for 6 months in French barriques and tonneaux makes it round and velvety, with a deep bouquet where berries and plum stand out, with sweet spices.
The sip is serous, with returns of blackberry, berries and black cherry. Organic wine.
The Di Giovanna family has been cultivating organic vineyards for five generations in western Sicily, just outside the town of Sambuca di Sicilia. Brothers Gunther & Klaus manage the family’s 56 hectare estate and winery where their hand crafted wines are made and bottled. All wines are made exclusively with estate fruit and the entire production cycle is certified organic by Suolo e Salute SRL.
