Terra Degli Enotri
Terra degli Enotri was born in 2021 from the initiative of Saverio Calabretta. The idea was to develop and achieve an artisanal winery, which could work the grapes and market them, directly linking the producer and the consumer and best showing the potential of the region. The productive vision of Terra degli Enotri intends to respect the key project: producing accessible and available wine for people and representing at the same time the simplicity and originality of this area. In this way Terra degli Enotri intends to guide people during social moments.
The Ional costal region of Calabria, between Cirò, Crucoli and Melissa, has always been a suitable territory for the cultivation of grapes and the production of doc wine. The story of Cirò wine begins during VIII century b. C., when several Greek colonists arrived on the Calabrian shores, near Punta Alice. Then they founded Krimisa, where a Temple of Bacchus, the god of wine, arose there.
