Cresta Rossa was born from Lorenzo's desire to ennoble the excellent raw material from his vineyard. Every year, in fact, he selects the best bunches of merlot and cabernet sauvignon to use them for the production of this wine, which demonstrates the vocation of the Como Lake area also for the production of important reds.
A sip of Brianza. Salute!
Lorenzo, the owner of the company, has a strong bond with the vineyard. As a child, in fact, he spent his holidays in nearby Valtellina, where he used to spend his days wandering through the vineyards. The bond has transformed over the years into a dream, that of becoming a winemaker, and when in 2016 Lorenzo had the opportunity to buy the "Runch", the farmhouse with vineyard that is now the company's headquarters, he did not hesitate. With a lot of work he managed to bring the farmhouse back to life and recover the vineyard, dating back to the 90s and now in a state of abandonment, thus realizing his desire to become a winemaker.
